Apple raises TV and Apple One subscription prices
Apple has increased monthly and annual charges for its streaming service and bundled plans, with the biggest rise on yearly Apple TV subscriptions.
Apple has lifted prices for Apple TV and Apple One in the United States, according to reports published on Friday. The streaming service now costs $14.99 a month, up from $12.99, while the annual plan has risen to $119 from $99.
The company also increased the cost of Apple One, its package that combines Apple TV with other services. Ars Technica reported that the bundle price has gone up by as much as 20 percent.
The latest change follows earlier increases to Apple TV pricing over the past four years, The Verge reported. The higher rates apply to both new and existing subscribers.
Apple has not publicly explained the latest adjustments in the reports cited, and the service remains one of the company’s main subscription offerings.
