Dell has announced the 14S, a 14-inch laptop aimed at students, at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin. The company is pitching it as a more affordable alternative in its lineup, below the recently released XPS 13.
The laptop will be sold in four colors and starts with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, according to reporting from The Verge and other tech outlets. Those outlets said the design and target market make it resemble Apple’s MacBook Neo in broad terms.
TechRadar said pricing is still a key question for the new model, while Engadget described it as another low-cost effort to compete with Apple’s laptop. Dell has not yet detailed wider availability beyond the launch announcement.
