Real Madrid agree deal to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig
The Ivory Coast winger is set to join Madrid on a contract through 2033 after the clubs confirmed an agreement.
Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, with the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international set to move to Spain. The clubs confirmed the transfer on Thursday.
BBC Sport reported the fee could rise to 140 million euros, or about £120 million. Yahoo Sports said Diomande will sign a contract running until 2033.
Sky Sports also reported that Madrid had settled terms for the winger, while ESPN noted the move adds another attacking option to a squad already built around Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Júnior.
Diomande has emerged as one of Leipzig's most valuable young players, and his transfer adds to Madrid's recent spending in forward areas as the club continues to reshape its attack.
