Britain says it will share missile parts data with Ukraine
A British defence company will provide Ukraine with technical details on components used in SCALP missiles as London expands support for Kyiv.
Britain will give Ukraine technical information to help it assemble long-range missiles, according to a statement from a senior British official in Kyiv on Ukraine’s Independence Day. The move is part of London’s continuing military support for the country as it fights Russia’s invasion.
The official said defence contractor MBDA will pass on details about British-made parts used in the SCALP missile. Those details are intended to help Ukraine put the weapons together more quickly.
The announcement came during a visit to Kyiv for the annual independence celebrations. It adds to a series of Western measures aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s weapons production and battlefield supply lines.
