VK sues Apple in Moscow over blocked apps

Russian tech company VK has taken Apple to court in Moscow over the removal of its apps from the App Store, according to reporting from TechRadar. The filing seeks both reinstatement of the apps and financial penalties if the blocks continue.
TechRadar said VK is asking for 58 million rubles a day in compensation, which it described as about $696,000. The dispute adds to a long-running fight over app access in Russia and Apple’s control of its marketplace.
