Leak points to Siri AI coming to Apple TV 4K in tvOS 27
A new report says Apple may bring its upgraded Siri features to Apple TV 4K with tvOS 27 after leaving the device out of the June rollout.
Apple is expected to add its newer Siri functions to Apple TV 4K in tvOS 27, according to a leak reported this week. The change would bring the set-top box into line with other Apple devices that received the AI update in June.
The report said Apple TV and HomePod were not included in that earlier release, even as the company expanded Siri across most of its platforms. It did not give a release date for tvOS 27.
A separate TechRadar report focused on a leaked Siri Remote and said Apple TV users want three changes: a more capable Siri button, better navigation controls and a way to make the remote easier to locate. The outlet also noted that one of those ideas can already be done now through existing Apple TV settings.
Both reports point to Apple continuing to refine the Apple TV experience through software and accessory updates. Apple has not publicly confirmed the tvOS 27 changes.
