Zuckerberg said he expects the technology to reach billions of people over the next five years, according to reports on the call. He framed the effort as part of Meta’s broader AI strategy rather than a separate product line.
The company has been investing billions of dollars in the computing power and systems needed to support those tools, with the aim of convincing investors that the spending will produce returns. Meta has not yet detailed a launch timetable for the agents.
