TalkTalk Business and ARO plan UK tech services merger

TalkTalk Business and ARO are set to combine, bringing about 70,000 customers into a new UK technology services group.

TalkTalk Business and ARO are preparing to merge into a new UK technology services company, according to The Register. The deal would bring about 70,000 customers under one roof, although the new group’s name and leadership have not been disclosed.

The publication said the combination would create a larger provider in the UK tech services market. No financial terms were included in the report.

The merger adds to a busy period for the technology sector, where companies are also dealing with shifting demand for hardware, software and AI-related services. The new business is expected to operate in the UK market once the transaction is completed.
